Poor boy, how stoic they are, he must have been totally miserable and in so much pain - and well done to those great people who got him back looking like he is now.

I believe its mostly animals who show that amazing power over pain, they seem to be able to soldier on through amazing injuries that would have people passed out from pain. Dogs especially, to be in such pain and to still let people touch and help them, shows the great depths of their natures.
