Poor Harryhorn

Harry has been a bit off for a week nearly, seems fine on walks etc but not keen on his tea, when you put it down he glares at it then walks round it looking as if it makes him feel sick.
Saturday he refused to eat at all and Sunday morning was panting, and obviously wasn't drinking as much as he normally does. I took his temp and it was just under 104 so a quick trip to the vet was made. She wasn't sure other than his tum felt very tender and agreed his temp was raised, and has given him anti biotics.
he is a little brighter today and his temp down to 102, but at least he ate some beef with his tablets hidden inside!
He is wagging his tail again and carrying his squeaky toy so fingers' crossed he is on the mend.
He was swimming in the sea last week but I always dry him thoroughly, could he have picked up a bug or some sewage nasty?

Awwww poor fella! He could well have caught something in the sea - no doubt like most dogs of his age and of similar breed he likes to drink sea water?

Could be anything! Sorry to hear he's not been well and glad he's on the mend. I thought you were going to say the vet found a load of pebbles in hie tummy!

Poor Harry, hope he is back to his old self very soon.

Could well have been the sea water....I think we all know its not as healthy as it used to be! The last time I had a paddle I ended up with a rash all over my feet!

Aw - hope he feels better soon. Drinking sea water is probably the culprit!

Sorry to hear about Harry, hopefully he's been drinking too much seawater it always makes mine feel off colour.
