well went to the hunter trial today at stowell, to do the 3.6ft open... walked the course was fine except for a few nasty skinnies and a hedge that was bigger than me :O ! got on and walmed up, he was going really nicely and then dad came over and said he had a nose bleed, my friend was going before me was in the starting box so i said good luck, but his nose bleed didnt stop so we got the vet over, he said i shouldnt compete and we should take him to the vets... so we took him over to the vets to be scoped, he had to be doped and twitched and had 2 men and a girl holding him down and they still struggled with getting the tube up his nose! but they got it up and found that his synases were bleeding... they said if he had another nose bleed we should take him back for a head x-ray and then maybe have to have a hole put in his forhead to see whats going on so 10 days off and then only light work and slowly bringing him back on.... got home at 7:30!! :O so upset as he was going so well up unitl now, jumping beautifully and his dressage was finally starting to get good! i know its not that bad but its just annoying... i hope everyones elses days were good!
highlight of the day when Rodeney Powell said that my horse looked like a good horse that could jump, which was nice of him
so yeah cr@p day really
