Poor little mite - selling for £95!

If you think that's bad enough, on the usual culprit Dragon Driving there's an Exmoor for £50, and a 14 month old filly being advertised as "ready to break" FOURTEEN MONTHS WTF :mad::mad::mad::mad:

I hate ads like that with stupid pictures of people standing on their backs etc. And yes, you're right - none of them look particularly happy. Especially the iron grey in 2nd to last pic :O

I saw an 18m old earlier showing as broke for riding and driving

I also hate pictures of people standing on the backs. To quote Ms. Twain, that don't impress-a me much.

Thought you were only supposed to advertise one horse for sale in Horsemart adverts. Wouldn't it just serve them right if someone were to press the 'report' button on them for being such cheapskates ;);)

Horrible :( I hate photos of standing on backs etc. the poor things don't look great do they? It's a no win situation I suppose people buy them because they feel sorry for them and what them out situations like that but as long as people buy they will sell.

really upsetting. why do it? to make profit? they buy the horse for £30 say? the ad's are £15 (yes divided by the 4 horses they have squeezed on) + hay + transport + whatever other minimal care they may or may not have given... all for what £40 profit? grrrr

If it would help at all to stop people like this I would buy one or two of them but I know it won't, what can we do ... just sit back and watch these stupid people 'torture' these poor things  gggrrrrrrrr

Friend was in Talgarth market last week and came back with lorryful of foals, they were selling for a Guinea!! I have one (my xmas pressie!!) registered sec c colt foal 5mths old and he's prefect to lead been all trimmed, looked after.
People need to dtop breeding the are too many horses!!!

Just had a trawl round dragons driving....OHMIGOD!! I cant believe how many poor little ponies have been broken to drive / ride at such a young age, one even as a yearling, with horrible horrible photos in horrible surroundings. Why do people breed so indiscriminately???!!!! Idread to think where most of the poor things end up.

I recognise that yard, It's Irish Tom :(

Thought he'd been done by trading standards?
Is he still allowed to trade?

I know we all moan about him, but seriously you would have to be some hard hearted SOB to go there without buying one of his horses :(

That poor grey pony in the forth picture with that great lump sat on it.
It doesn't even look that old; that, or it's in very poor condition. It's back end look really weak.

:(:(:(:(:(:(
