Ceebee wow that was a long recovery wasn't it, my mare injured herself the same day as your lad, she had her stitches out a week ago Friday and as of today you can hardly see you had the wound, your boy must have been really bad, bless him, glad he's on the mend though and coming back to you xx

Yes, I must admit, I didn't appreciate how bad it was. The photo didn't really do the injury justice. I realised how bad it was when I saw the vets hand disappear inside it! Some of the stitches came out earlier this week along with the drain, but I think he still has a few left in. Vets have been fantastic and although we have missed him terribly, especially Harvey, I am glad he has been in safe hands.
