I am not sure if people have already seen this, but I have just seen it on Facebook & thought I would post on here as owner wants people to be aware. :(. It happened in Norfolk

Totally devastated....Had to rush my little Daisy to Newmarket for surgery tonight after a stray dog got into her field and attacked her and little foaly resulting in my poor little girl loosing her left eye :'((((((((((((( god help those responsible when I get my hands on them... So sorry if this picture upsets anyone but the Police have told me to put pictures up everywhere to make people aware to help fine the owner of the dog so if anybody knows anything please get in touch.. look what it has done to my beautiful girl

Poor poor little pony, she was probably only trying to protect her baby too. I hope they find the owner of that dog and punish them properly. Daisy's owner must be devastated. :( x

Oh that is dreadful! Poor little Daisy. I hope she recovers well, and is not too traumatised. Why don't people keep their dogs under control! Hope the little foal is ok too.

I agree with everything said here.Poor pony, hope she and foaly are ok. Poor mites, especially "Daisy" must be traumatized bless them.
I say when they catch that dog,PTS.

Hope she recovers and that the foal is ok, poor you, silly question but how are you (obviously apart from angry) it must be awful for you to see your poor mare going through such an ordeal.

I hope you find the dogs owners

Lots of love to you, your lovely mare and her foal xxxxx

It's not my pony, I came across it on a group I am with so thought I would pass it on as owner wants people to know to hopefully find owner/dog. As far as I am aware the foal was ok, it was just the mare that came of worse :(

Poor thing, have to admit i ride on a farm and we have found that putting up a sign saying farmers can shoot dogs seen to be worrying live stock helps control dog problem as it scares people. We have a foot path going thru farm and had a big problem with dogs. Put sign up and problem went, just don't tell people we have no gun.
