Poor Poor Diddy Kept in a shed.

Yes I just saw that on the Daily Fail website. Poor little bugger. I suspect that headcollar is digging in a bit as well as him being underweight, licey and wormy! Thank goodness he was found - someone must have reported them.

Its dreadful and thankgod the poor pony is now safe. i dont know how to.post links, but there is an advert on preloved at the min (search derbyshire, 4th advert pony called 'lucky') which actualy says he would be fine in a shed in thr garden! He may only be small, but who would want their pony to live in a shed?! :-0

For once, just the once mind you; the RSPCA has done some good.........

I thought this, but then rethought and actually, shouldn't the RSPCA have removed him on the first visit? At the end of the day unless this pony was put on full livery somewhere then it was never going to be treated correctly by said couple?

Or is that me just being mean?

Yes that's you being mean, they usually will give a stiff talking too then return to see if anythings been done .
You can't just go about removing people property unless you are sure you are acting within the law.
In all the cases of numptys ( that being the horse owners )I was involved with with the RSPCA , would be give a talking to first the RSPCA officersI worked with would give very specific advise like trim feet ,remove rubbish ,muck out , provide clean bedding, some form of exercise and then return to see if things had improved .
