So very sorry to hear Dotty didn't make it.

How distressing for her, her dam and you.

We had calves that went blind and had swollen heads. Theirs was lead poisoning from some old roofing felt that someone had dumped in the wood area of our field. We didn't realise it was anything "sinister" until the second one had the same symptoms. It was initially thought that the calf had bumped itself.
