We had a litter of 3/4 border collie puppies, all red and white with lovely white markings, and were all sold very easily and to good homes. We gave the new owners contact details and told them if they had any problems and to let us know how they were getting on to please contact us.

Anyway one of the bitches owners emailed us to tell us how well she was getting on and how much they loved her. Fine, great... then we get a phone call yesterday to say that they wanted to bring the puppy back because they had left the puppy with their 2 year old daughter in the garden and the puppy knocked toddler over! What do they expect of an untrained puppy!?

So we now have her back here and i don't know how they could do it, she is absolutely beautiful and lovely. Shes not even mouthy or too excitable, shes just lovely and friendly! We would keep her but we kept two of the puppies already and have mum and dad, so we can't keep another one!

So she is in need of a new home. Shes 12 weeks old and has had her vaccinations and is called Rosie. She comes to her name and loves other dogs and animals including horses, cats and sheep and she does love children! And is of course very affectionate. If anyone can give this lovely puppy a loving and permanent home please PM for details.

I know tell me about it! They just didn't understand a puppy has to be trained and that you don't leave a 2 year old child and a puppy on their own.

Cant belive someone would send a pup back for BEING a pup!!!
Maybe its a blessing in disguise, if they are stupid enough to think that playfull pup behaviour is dangerous what else would they get wrong in future?

Best of luck finding the right home for her!

Yeh i think you might be right, when the guy brought her back he didn't even say goodbye to her or anything! So if we can find her a lovely home it probably is a good thing for her.

I'll get a up to date picture of Rosie as soon as I can.

How stupid can you get? It's not like the wee thing thought. 'oh today I'll be naughty and knock the kid over!'

I'd love to offer it a home, but unfortunately my schnauzer is a jealous wee beast.

Thank you so much JAK for recommending that website. After only a few hours of being advertised on their Rosie has a new home, and a fantastic one too! She joined her new owners and 4 other dogs last night where she will eventually compete in agility, and is even going on doggie holiday with them on Sunday to Dogs in Need!!! So Thank you soooo much!
