Im going to be moving Charlie from very poor quality grazing on friday to very good quality grazing. My question is how much should I restrict his turn out in order to prevent any colic.

About 3 months ago I did the same thing and literally introduced the new grazing hour by hour, over a 4 week period, I also fed pink powder just before we left the old yard right through until about 3 weeks ago. The youngster scoured slightly after a rainy few days so she was back to a couple of hours. It sounds a bit extreme now I have written it down but they literally went from nothing to knee deep grass not grazed all winter.

Good luck and don't panic x x

I would restrict it for a couple of weeks,Its better to be on the safe side than take an avoidable risk.
