He had to have an enema last night... He has been poohing fine, but yesterday I noticed he was straining and nothing was coming out. I thought I would see how he was when he came in from the field, but he was still doing it, so I got the vet to come and check him over. I know I am a neurotic owner already, but I just thought it was better to have him looked at rather than keep worrying.
The vet checked him over, and everything was fine. So she put a finger up his bottom (he was so good, never moved) and found some hard pieces... lovely! So she gave him an enema, and again he was an absolute star!
They are going onto shavings today because they are so messy in there and at least with shavings I can have a thin bed (I have Equi-Mats) and big bankings. Do you think he will be ok on shavings???
