i stand to be corrected if i am wrong but I have always been led to believe that the floor is not usually inculded in a service so you may have a problem persuing the matter.

God thats scary, thank god hes ok.
Ive also heard that floors arent checked in services or MOT's.
We borrowed a trailer years ago and my then pony shook when we put him in it and kept backing out at high speed. We never took him anywhere in it as he was so upset but heard that the following week the floor went through with the owners horse in it.

OMG! That is my worst fear! Glad pony is ok.

I would be appauled if I had bought a box that was 3 years old and the floor went! I would go back to the seller and complain!

As a rule, servicing and plate/MOT doesn't include the floor. It just covers things like brakes, oil, water, filters e.t.c Anything to do with the actual inner including floor is down to the owner.
