My dog (who I've posted about quite a lot on here!) is really poorly today. He's shaking and is really uncomfortable around his tummy on one side, he won't even lie down - he's at work with me and must have been stood up for most of the day :-( and is practically falling asleep standing up.He's also really flat in himself whereas normally hes never still, he is still eating tho, but is struggling to go to toilet
Vets is at 5pm, really hoping it's nothing serious

He has been to the vet, has a very inflammed prostate so has had long lasting painkiller injections, anti inflammatory injection and metacam for the next week and antibiotics. He's perking up now it's all kicking in but is still sore.
If it reoccurs once this has cleared up he'll be castrated
Thank you all

Ouchies! My older dog has/had an enlarged prostate (And a malformed bladder/urethra/urinary tract. And recurrent UTIs. And allergies. Sigh) and have had barely any issues since he was neutered, I'd go for it and save yourself some heartache (and he might put on weight :p)

CC-Thats what i'm hoping as well.
Just have the battle to win, I think he is starting to come round seeing as how much pain he was in last night.
He does seem much happier today
