poorly dog

My parents dog is very poorly,off food,high temperature,lethargic and now is having difficultly standing. has been to vets and had clear blood tests, xrays tomorrow. Anyone had anything similar with their dog or idea what it could be.??

Could it be a stomach infection? Not sure if that would show up on a blood test or not but my dog was exactly the same after he ate a mouldy sausage. He was
