poost abcess

is it normal for abby's heel to still be really soft after having an absese?? is it just from having such wet weather??

i'm so paranoid leave for holiday on tuesday morning and if theres anything wrong with her like having to be stabled again or anything i can't go

What's a "poost abscess"? Do you mean post abscess, ie after the abscess has cleared up? Where on her foot was the abscess? If it was round the heel area, then I suppose the tissue could still be healing. Wet weather shouldn't make a horse's heels spongy and TBH I'd either ask an experienced owner to have a look to hopefully set your mind at rest or get the vet back out.
