Hi all, please help! I have a Ifor Williams HB511 mk2 and have converted it as a pizza trailer (don’t shoot me!). It’s a little unbalanced at the rear so I’ve purchased some prop stands. Can anyone help with instructions on how to fit them? When I spoke to my IW dealer they said they had no clue and I can’t find anything useful on the web. The trailer sits fine on flat ground but when I move it there’s a slight balance issue towards the rear. I’d really appreciate your help. Thank you.

Interesting, I found this picture of them fitted, but its not obvious how you lock them into position in normal use. have you removed the black plastic to see what is behind, the threaded mounting holes may be there.

I'll keep looking.

OK, I think I have sussed it, (but I may be wrong, I'm not a trailer expert, but I like an engineering challenge!)

This is the full kit. I think all of this mounts to the trailer frame behind the rear black plastic outer trim. Then to use the props, the wrench and extension in the kit photo is inserted through the hole in the trim (red arrow below), the long silver bolt can be undone and the prop will drop down. The steel prop is hidden behind the black trim when pushed back up and stowed away and the bolt tightened. Hope that makes sense, the first thing I would do is take the trim off and see if there are threaded holes in the trailer frame for the prop clamps. EDIT There won't be threaded holes, they will just be holes, as the 4 gold bolts and 4 silver nuts fit through the trailer frame. It may need to be drilled if there are no holes.

That makes sense. I'm going to give it a go now and I'll update on any success. Thank you.

Your method was spot on. It was a bit tricky getting the trim off as it was riveted on, but the holes were already in place in the frame so it was just a matter of bolting them on. My only issue was the hole used to access the tightening bolt was out of alignment but again, a slight adjustment by cutting the hole slightly larger allows for easy access with spanner or wrench. Thank you for your help Darbs.
