Poplet photos!

Was it an accidental pregnancy??? Only asking as I have it stuck in my head that the PoppleMa is only young herself???
Even so, isn't she a fantastic Moominmamma! Look at the shine on those boys. I bet the poor sods are cleaned to within an inch of their lives.
I have visions of PoppleMa spitting on a hankie and wiping their faces while tutting!

No. No, they aren't at all. I would never put a dog of mine through that. :( Sprocket is a boy, and Fraggle is a girl.

Popple may look like a pup, (yes, she still gets "awww, puppy" multiple times on every walk that we go on), but she is the perfect age (2 1/2), that I have been recommended from multiple good sources, to breed a first litter from. I have spent approx £1K in vet checks, tests and studs fees, all for no profit, and in fact have done this at a significant loss and with double figures of good homes left hopeful/disappointed.

The daddy of this litter cost me a significant amount of money, and I took Popple to the vet whom his owner has used in the 30 years that he has been breeding/training/judging across Europe; both of whom were more than happy for the mating to go ahead. Both Daddy, Chip, and his own Mummy have been presented to the queen for their impressive trial championship winnings, and Pops has proved herself greatly last season and with the multiple generations of working dogs that she comes from.

I would never jeopardize my beloved dog's health for an accidental pregnancy... :( In fact, I am quite upset by the suggestion... :(

They are gorgeous, she is doing them so well isn't she. Puppies are the biggest time wasters in the world, be prepared to get nothing done over the next few weeks. To put my boring dog breeder hat on, its worth just trimming their nails every few days, they are surprisingly sharp and may scratch Popple as the feed . Its really a case of nipping the very end off, I use human nail clippers so there is no danger of stabbing the pups. Apologies if I am telling you something you knew.

Popple is absolutely magical at Mummyhood :) She is amazing, and takes my breath away with what a natural she is at it all, and how she takes it in her stride - honestly, it has me welling up almost every day! :o

Funny that you should say that, as one of my vet student friends came round on Tuesday, by request, to trim Pop's claws, and decided to leave the pups for now. Although today was indeed the first time that they have caught them on the towels. She will be popping around again on Sat, so I shall ask her to check/trim them then :) Thank you :) Please keep all advice coming. I really appreciate it :) xxx

Tried to send this as a PM....hope you don't mind me broadcasting it here.....

I'm really sorry if my post offended you. It was a genuine mistake as I got you confused with another poster from a different forum completley. Really I should stop being a forum whore and stick to one or two instead of several as its not the first 'cross over' mistake I have made. (Lady on one of the parenting sites I go on had a name almost the same as another poster and when Poster1 put up her holiday snaps a few days ago I commented on the fact that it was not long till the baby arrived...yep you got it she wasn't pregnant)
Please except these cyber flowers...

Again, I'm really sorry.

WoopsiiD, don't worry about it :) Life's too short! I left this thread last night because my neighbour turned up on my doorstep having found her brother dead in his flat yesterday - Life really is too short! Sorry for being sharp in my response to you. xx

I was just popping back into this thread after seeing the new pics you put on with the pups on their backs, I mean, they are just so utterly adorable, they must be the best tonic for you at the moment whilst youre recovering from your surgery. They must make you feel so much better at an otherwise difficult time, (apart from the new man of course). Then reading your post from a minute ago it really does put things into perspective, for some reason Im assuming this wasnt a very old person. what an awful shock to your neighbour that must have been. Makes some of our troubles seem very small!!

I needed those photos!!! *sighs.....*

Having had a very irritating morning on the phone to a load of halfwits some spangle babies was just what I needed!

And breathe......just one more look....lol
