Met up at Mum's house, where Inca the black lab immediately got off to a bad start by bursting Poppy's favourite thing (the yellow football).
Ohh look what she's done mum...
Here is the guilty party refusing to look at the camera...
Then as OH was eventing the following day we took mum and went to walk the course. My mum is completely unhorsy, but she enjoyed the walk and we had a great laugh at the carry on of the two dogs. They were playing 'greyhound and hare' the whole way round and must have run about ten miles each. They were wrecked.
I do wish that dad had been there as well though. We keep trying to tell him that Inca needs more exercise to burn the calories (vet says she has to lose weight), but he thinks because he takes her for an hours walk thats enough. Trouble is she is a lazy beast and just trots behind him. She needs a walk like today every day so that she really gets moving and burns off some pounds. I even bought him a tennis ball thrower thing (which is Poppy's second favourite thing after her football) but he hasn't used it yet.
Hope you enjoy the pics (I enjoyed taking them - the two dogs were really hilarious, though at one stage Inca knocked mum down (just bowled her over). Luckily she was OK.
