Finally managed to find someone that does agility and can be flexible with times and so last Tuesday Poppy and her friend Myrtle (she's more Myrtles friend as Myrtle isn't very sociable :wink3
toddled off to their first lesson.
We did jumps and tunnels, both rigid and material and mixed the two together. We started off with 4 jumps in a row and 'leading' them over. Then started on the tunnel, gradually stretched out then curves added. We then did the teacher ahead of us with two jumps between us, we'd throw the ball and Poppy would retrieve it. The idea was she'd come back to me but she was so happy to get her ball she kept doing laps of honour :biggrin3:
Pictures aren't great quality as taken from video and we were so busy laughing the phones weren't held very steady. They both loved it, so much so that Myrtle actually went through the material tunnel the wrong way when the wind blew it open for a split second.
P.S Myrtle is a dinky little BT.
This was jumping a jump, through the curvy tunnel then I'd throw the ball and she'd jump the jump - amazing how quickly they can swerve round a jump when only 6 inches in front of it :wink3:
Coming out the tunnel :smile3:
This is her starting her several laps of honour after jumping the jumps on her own. Check out my open arms as her I call her back :biggrin3:
And here's a token picture of her gawgusness taken yesterday.
Roll on next Tuesday when she hopes to introduce the weave bars and ramps.
