Little update on Poppy puppy. Nearly 2 now, where has the time gone :eek3:
So gawguss but so hairy, I'd groom her and she just looked like a sheep. Taking her for a walk was a nightmare as her coat just attracted everything, leaves, twigs, insects....
So booked her in for a pamper, she had to be clipped as her coat wasn't suitable for stripping. I was a bit nervous but very pleased the end result...
Before (obviously)
And after (again obviously) Next time I'm going to ask her to leave a little bit more on the ears and face as I love her curly ears.
We started agility back in April, she's such a high energy dog I felt she needed more than the 'usual walking' and boy does she love it :biggrin3:
She's so fast though I can't keep up but we have such a laugh. She loves the tunnel and normally climbs in as its being put out / away. The only thing she's not to keen on is the seesaw when it lands but getting there, we're now about 10 inches off the floor before the teacher lets it go !
Probably waiting for me to catch up....
She wasn't to keen on the A frame to start but loves it now. We found using a squeaky toy slows her down so she gets her contact points.
There's a stream next to the field we go to so her and her agility partner in crime Myrtle love to go for a cool down after.
She also turned into a lorry dog, took a bit of time but she's got it sussed now, she even has her own 'Princess cushion' She's not sussed the 'Back off I'm a vicious guard dog' look just yet.....
And just so Buddy doesn't feel totally left out, I've subscribed to one of these monthly pet boxes and in last months was a Bow tie :biggrin3: He wasn't amused, took about 3lb of ham to get that picture....
