Well we collected her from her breeder on Tuesday. She was 9 weeks by this time as we had been away on holiday, and though there are two pups still left, I think their mother would be glad to be rid of them.
Poppy has settled in really well. She has a playpen in the corner of the kitchen which she goes into at night and when we are out, rest of the time she runs about where we are. She is totally clean at night now (peed and poohed on the paper the first night, just a pee the second, and then nothing since) but occasionally leaks when I lift her out in the morning. Am trying not to get her excited, but obviously failing so far!! Doesn't whimper in the middle of the night which again surprosed me, I thought I would have got v little sleep this week.
Still take her outside on the lead, as our garden and yard are not totally enclosed, so wouldn't like her to disappear down a rabbit hole. Also the cats are still a bit unsure of her, and it wouldn't be v fair to let her chase them.
All going well so far, and she is so cute and cuddly.....
