Hi,
I have started my mare on porcine regumate, 2 squirts a day...She has only been on it for around ten days and it seems to be spluttering a bit...I hope at £60 a can it lasts longer than this...! I used it years ago for another mare and remember it lasting a while..
Anyone have any idea how long it should last?

Ages from what I can remember, just over a month. Has it got very cold with the weather we have had? Probably stating the obvious but you are keeping the canister upright when you squirt it.

Now that's a point.....I dont think it was upright, and now I've remembered its meant to be, thanks!!
I thought it was about a month, phew - otherwise would work out v.expensive!!
Maybe it is the cold, it has gone very white and gloopy...!
I cant keeo it warm, not even in the car as I cant get the car to the yard, great days :-(
I'll make sure I keep the can upright and hope it lasts a little longer...

Mine used to last ages, but I was only using one dose..not two? Mare was a just over 500kg Luso if that helps from a dosing perspective
