Name and shame this heartless B******! Would love to know when he is due in court!!!! 10pm at the Devils Dyke - a remote spot - I don't think he was dog walking! If I remember correctly it was foggy that night! Short memory if he forgot he tied the dog onto his bumper whilst he had a pee finally deciding to dump the poor innocent animal in a layby!

HE NEEDS SHOOTING......
hope it gets what he deserves.....
that poor poor dog, made me feel sick..

A friend of mine has created a group on Facebook in order to name and shame this vile creature. Please go on Facebook and look for 'Porsche Driver who dragged dog to death - name and shame'. If you have any friends in the West Sussex area invite them to join!!!!!! Feelings are so strong about this - over 3,000 people have shared this story on Facebook via the Daily Mail - there is no escape for this man. He needs to be made to realise what a monsterous thing he did and how many people are appalled by it - not only in the UK but worldwide!!!!!

Are you implying I am a would be vigilante? Been called many things in my time but never that. If this is the way you view this all I can say is everyone is entitled to their opinion but if I had the chance to come face to face and be left alone with this vile person I would not be responsible for my actions along with the many who have shown their support on the Mail On Line. Let him lose with them for half an hour and see the outcome. He was big enough to carry out his actions and now his name is held for fear of reprisals - I really feel for him - NOT! I wonder if he had the guts to return home - or did he go into hiding?

As an animal lover I consider his act disgusting and can only imagine how that poor dog suffered. To inflict this on any dumb animal who cannot defend itself and probably had complete trust in this moron is beyond comprehension.

Vigilante? Get a grip!

well said and I totally agree with you

To be wanting the mans name to be put into the public domain so that people can then injure him, and to want to injure him yourself sounds like a fair deffinition of vigilante to me.
I do not condone his actions, but neither do I agree with people taking the law into their own hands

Maybe that is how you feel but why should he have the protection of the police and media? He walked into Worthing police station, has been bailed until 14th December and his car is still being held for forensic evidence.

I really do not see why scum like this should have protection. As the saying goes if you can't do the time - don't do the crime. I am sure if and when it does go to court he will have a slap on the wrists and possibly be banned from keeping animals for life but as there would not be too many black Porsche owners in Worthing I cannot see his identity will be hidden for too long. Lets hope an animal loving judge resides and justice is done!

Perhaps you feel I do come across as a vigilante (what a laugh - I am sure the story will get better in the telling!!!) but I am a true animal lover and could only imagine how I would have felt had this happened to one of my animals. Someone must have loved that dog and now they will always remember the terrible end it had. Absolutely sickening.

onceuponatime I 100% agree, not remotely bothered or interested in what other people choose to think about me, the law and legal system in this country are a joke, A violent criminal has been bailed when he should have been locked up immediately! hopefully whilst on bail he will get the beating he deserves!

Kobie and Rose Folly

Totally agree. This was a sickening act to an innocent animal. Local radio this morning reported that it was due to a family dispute! What a pathetic individual to have to take his violence out on a defenceless creature. There are many posts on several forums from people who would like to see justice done in this case. I have read (fortunately never witnessed) many animal cruelty cases but this hit the pit of my stomach!

Young man, big ego, small member!

As for a vigilante - I do not consider this the action of a member of a vigilante group. As said before - why should he be allowed to hide behind the police and media? I am sure that even though the police are duty bound to offer some sort of protection they have no regard for this sick individual.

Sorry not sure how to put this on properly.

Not keen on mob rule but what really horrifies me even more and which is being missed ... Is that he is actually surprised at the reaction and now concerned over his own safety. What does that say about the mentality of our society nowadays? Personally outside his punishment - and his name will shortly be properly in the public domain- I would love to see him being made to roll his sleeves up at a rescue albeit not allowed near the dogs but kennel cleaning .. Among people whom will loathe him

I did put a post earlier that his solicitor was afraid of reprisals - as you say - what does he expect? Kennel cleaning is too good for him and would not hurt as much as the pain he inflicted. Once the job was done he would walk away unscathed apart from the fact that his pathetic ego would smart a little and hopefully he would be shunned by all who know him and loathed by anyone who is unfortunate enough to meet him in the future!

Ah your missing my point - I did not mean that should be his main punishment I meant additional and was thinking of how the other people there would treat him. I suspect his job etc will now be at risk when this comes out..good.

Got to agree with onceuponatime. I'm normally a moderate person but I'm so sickened by the rise in animal cruelty and this has sickened me more than most. These perpetrators need to be afraid of something for goodness sake. They are not going to be afraid of the law which will do nothing more than give them a token fine and maybe ban them from keeping animals for a year or so. I want this specimen to go through the rest of his life in fear - always looking over his shoulder for reprisals. Why should he not suffer!

This is the bit that really bugs me. A local man went to court for throwing a neighbour's cat into a bathfull of hot water and then tossing it out of the upstairs window. The cat was badly injured and died. The guy got a ban from keeping cats - but he never had a cat in the first place, he had a dog!! It was the neighbour's cat!!! So effectively he got away with it. And as this wasnt the bloke's dog, whats the use in banning him from keeping dogs.

I sincerely hope that he spends the rest of his life looking over his shoulder. Evil, evil man.
