I love my pone, and I think Eventing is a game that we are never going to win..love it
DISCLAIMER: I did warn you about the number of photos...
Ok started off the day with more photos being snapped by my trusty mate Johnny, including my dog deciding he is an RSPCA case and doing loving eyes etc (he was upset J hadn't thrown his ball...)
He soon lazed out whilst watching stressage though
Onto the stressage...I haven't ridden since Somerley as I had a lovely holiday away with my Dad in Cambridge so he has been ridden by a friend of mine...Pony was certainly upset by the lack of Jules love, so was totally not talking to me this morning...
Anyway, he was VERY naughty warming up - had to use 4 half halts in order to make any movement, but as soon as I went down the centre line, he died on me and half a half halt equalled stopping...! Naughty pone, swear he does it to be cheeky (get's away with blue murder my pone!) anyway, it was a rubbish test but judge was looking the other way and we managed a 32
hehe (was in a very low marking section though, that's probably why)
So after then bricking myself about the SJ (moved into the novice class to get myself back in order) for some reason BE sj makes me ride like a complete muppet...BSJA I have been fine, and everything is hunky dory... Anyway, an ok round, I only hooked once (my only hook of the whole day
woop) and I had a pole, and he did, so 8 faults, but better than taking flying lessons
and lastly, the XC!
Last year, I sat on the first fence in Zs first PN, and it was the same fence there this year but doing the novice
hehe luckily we didn't sit on it and he was mega round the track, let him run along a little faster in between fences and he loved it. At the start he was rather too excited (though not as much as a horse WFP was on lol) and did spin a few times but cowboy Jules just laughed
silly pone
He did jump everything with literally feet to spare, no idea why he wanted to jump that high, but it certainly felt a little unnecessary however I think this may be due to him feeling a lot better now his saddle is fitting properly.
he was also a lot happier that it was XC time and was sort of speaking to me at this point....
haha please don't laugh at my face/position in a lot of these photos...I don't concentrate often and when I do, I normally have to take a few neurofen!
And you know you love lots of photos, so don't complain !
Thanks for reading, I am going in the tub now for a well earned glass of wine
