I am currently loaning (well, in between loans) so haven't had a riding lesson for a while and no longer have a regular riding school. Does anybody know anywhere really nice around the Southampton area (can travel) that will do a one-off dressage or jumping lesson with a really top quality ned and instructor and great facilities?
Thanks!

Check out NFED for riding schools.

For a really good lesson Quob or Pinkmead which are based near West End/Hedge End in Southampton or if your willing to travel there is an international event rider near Salisbury, link to website below.

Thank you so much, just what I was looking for. Funny that Tamara is cheaper than Quob and Pinkmead!
Thanks :)

My daughter rode weekly at Wellington for many years till we got her a pony, she does go back every now and then.

Wellington regularly run clinics and I see they've a SJ one with Geoff Billington next week (Thurs 9th) http://www.wellington-riding.co.uk/template7.asp?PageID=535. I confess I always used to sit in and watch his clinic rather than my daughter's lesson, and we often both went and sat on the straw bales after and watched him teach. Would highly recommend.

Another vote for welly (:

Had a week of riding there in the summer and felt I learn't a good deal. Rode a horse called Tia she was great!! Anyone know if she's still there?
