After struggling with several firms both horsey and non-horsey in the last few months, and reading the new bridle rant in Stable Yard, I just wanted to give Evison Equine a huge thumbs up. Can't recommend them highly enough.

In July I bought an XF comfort bridle from them on ebay (seller name is redevo999 or they have a website) for a very reasonable price and it arrived very promptly. It's gorgeous quality and looks stunning on my boy... or so I think ;)

Have had the bridle for a few months now and love it, but I want to try him in a drop noseband. Evison didn't have one in XF. I could've used one for a Jeffries or Albion comfort bridle but they were nearly double the price of an Evison one, so I decided to chance the Full size. The XF bridle comes up very generous so I wondered whether the full drop might just fit him. It arrived less than 48 hours after I ordered it, which is virtually unheard of since I live in N.I. and things usually take an extra day or two to reach here. ;)

Sadly it doesn't fit, so I emailed to ask whether it would be possible to exchange it and have an XF one made. They replied very promptly and even went as far as apologising that their F didn't fit and yes they'd be happy to make me an XF. So hopefully in a few weeks he'll have a gorgeous shiny new XF drop noseband made to measure for him!

Excellent products, prices and customer services Evison Equine, thank you :)

ETA: They also do a rather tasty range of blingy browbands which I am eyeing up... only but that my horse would kill me :D

I must also recomend them. I have their heavy weight rug and I love it!! Was quite cheap for such a heavyweight rug and it kept my boy lovely and warm last winter

I have also have a heavyweight rug of them, and for the price of it, it's as good as anything else. Still going strong in year 2, with a destructive horse!

Oooh thanks for the headsup! Looking for a new reasonabley rpiced bridle and they do look nice :D Would always buy from places with a good recommendation like yours :D

Serial Lurker :D

But I have had wonderful service from them - however the reason for sticking my head above the parpet is to ask how true to size are their rugs?
