Can I please have some of you HHO Positive vibes please :-(
Renny has had a really bad infection in his heal bulb in the foot which has been going on now for 3 weeks. He has been on box rest, Antibiotics and Bute with cleaning it every day etc.
On Thursday last week it was starting to look much better and he was sound, however Sunday morning he can not even put his foot to the floor!! He could not walk, he would nearly fall over if I asked him to walk and put weight on it.
So called the vet and she was out straight out to see him, cut some more foot away and nothing was coming out so she said for me to keep cleaning etc and put him on some more Antibiotics and Bute.
Well this morning he was even worse :-( He has not eaten his dinner or breakfast for days now, and this morning he was full of foam under his rug was so hot.
So called my vet and he has got to go into the vets and have an X-Ray on his foot as she thinks it could be something more serious deep down into the foot.
If nothing comes from the X-Ray then they are going to put him on an Antibiotic drip which will go straight into the Vain and go to the straight to the foot.
I just hope this is a really bad infection and nothing more... Positive Vibes PLEASE :-(
