Having the vet out tomorrow to Scoot after some intermittent lameness on his offside fore. Trying not to stress too much but cannot help worrying that it's something serious. Also gutted as Sunday I had entered my first ever jumping class against the clock (only 2ft 6 after a few clear rounds previously) chances are it will be nothing major as rode Thursday/Friday/sat/sun with no issues, then slightly lame again yesterday. Farrier and Physio have both been out and have found nothing except a tight shoulder on the opposite side. Have a very stressful job and riding is my downtime so hopefully not long before we are back out and about, fingers crossed! Pointless post really... Just hoping they will find the cause and get him on the road to recovery

Hopefully it's nothing serious, it always amazes me that the neddies always seem to know when you've just made plans for them!

Good luck and fingers crossed for you.

Vet has been, difficult to diagnose, possible slight tendon sheath strain... Vet has advised 4-6 weeks of field rest and then a very slow introduction to working again, walking only to start with etc. possibly caused by hard ground (like concrete round here at the moment) so not great news but nothing horrific... Hopefully!!! Don't know what I'm going to do with myself with no riding lol
