My delightful horse has now decided to get another fat leg!
Yesterday was very slightly lame-more off than lame in trot so kept him in overnight and his hind leg has swollen around the hock, above it and down the leg to the fetlock and is warm, walked him out for 40mins (incase it was an infection and he wasn't lame :) ) and it didn't go down hardly then cold hosed and went down a bit, this leg already looked like it had a slight curb now looks bigger??

Any advice would be so helpful :) thanks

Check the digital pulse, if really easy to feel then it could be from an abscess brewing in the foot.

Otherwise look really carefully for a cut or puncture wound. Legs generally swell up when there is an infection in the limb or foot.

A curb will be very clearly seen as a bulge at the base of the hock - you don't usually see swelling over the whole lower leg.
