Hi all. I bought a horse 2 weeks ago, he passed a 5 stage vetting with no problems. He was a bit thin and motheaten as he had lived out without a rug and in a herd and had bites, scabs and scrapes. Now that his coat has thinned, some of the 'scabs' on his neck actually look like sarcoids. I have 2 issues- is it reasonable to expect the vet to have checked that any bumps were not sarcoids? Also, the horse was bought with a 28 day exchange policy, should I just take him back? I really like him but feel I paid far too much for him if he does have sarcoids, and anyway, any of the other horses could have them too! I would not have bought a horse with sarcoids. Help, any advice/opinions appreciated!
