Post and rail fencing cost

My fencing is rubbish and need to replace it. I have looked for a cost but most just seem to supply at around £6 a metre. Does anyone have any idea how much it would cost for someone to do it. Might ask our local farmer but not sure he would have time.

Depends on which and how many materials you use of course (2,3 or 4 rails, half round, square posts or rails and so on) but we're usually about £15 a metre supplied and fitted. Thoroughly recommend you have electric along the top too so they don't get chewed, well worth the extra as chewed rails look awful.

We are having a 3 rail fence put in around the 25m by 45m arena - I think its costing £2000. the fence will be 1m 15cm high from the surface.

that would make it £15 per metre I guess.
