Looking for some advice on the safest and most durable paddock fencing for our ponies.
We’re fencing off a new section of our land for our ponies. The overall field has boundary fencing, however we need an internal boundary fence for the pony paddock to keep them away from our driveway, garden and the machinery we store in this field. We need to keep ponies in and dogs/children out!
They’re currently fenced with just electric rope so I’ll likely split the paddock up into sections with electric rope, however I’d like something a bit more sturdy for the perimeter. I’ve looked at horse rail/stud rail but I’m not convinced this will be any more sturdy than electric when it comes to tenacious ponies!
I’m weighing up post and rail vs tornado wire +top rail for the perimeter but I’m open to other options if there’s something better/safer.
TIA
