My horse went in for a Tieback and Hobday on the 3rd Oct and the op itself went like clockwork, but whilst coming round from the general anesthetic he got a myopathy in his triceps muscle where he was lying down!
Has anyone else had this happen to their horse...?

My boy has only just started to put weight on his right leg, for a while it was really hit and miss, but luckily he responded to steroids. I have also had acupuncture done on him to try and help.

Would love to hear anyone else's points of view.

Thanks

Very spooky, my youngster had the same op on 16th October. Sounds like he had something simular although no where near as bad as your boy. They described it to me as 'Pins & needles' also in his right front leg. However his thankfully only lasted a few hours.
I hope your boy is ok.
Apart from this, how did his op go?
How is the hole from the hobday looking?
