Any piccies?? Polox is a great laugh. I have zero talent but was impressively good at galloping up and down getting in the way. Once I even (accidentally) got the ball. That was scary because then all the other players galloped AT me! Nowadays I think it's best left to the young'uns 😊😊

We had a great time at Brand , but we where robbed !! Lovely dressage test 27.8 , then into the jumping , and she just caught he last fence . But what was mind blowing was the 9 time faults . We couldn’t understand it. She stormed around the xc clear and inside the time . We then checked the time for the SJ , and it was 80 seconds . My daughter recorded the round and it shows we where inside the time by 1 second . So we went to the show secretary with evidence in hand , and was told they wouldn’t remove them . Such a shame as she would have been 4th.
 
Our weekend didn't entirely go to plan but wasn't all bad either. The baby horse showed he is very much still a baby and didn't cope with the warm up at his first competition at all. He lived up to his name, show everyone his Expressions! BUt he still did the test and kept a lid on it although I opted not to canter.

The grown up horse did a lovely dressage test but had a few rails sj. We did win the class though! Then today at the eventing GP he got VERY over excited and the round was not as smooth as I would have liked. Lots to learn from though!

It was Salty's birthday today :)

For a birthday outing we went to a test riding clinic with BD Wales. Wobbled round prelim 19 and then worked on some bits. She mostly tried hard (though was *extremely* nosy and had to have a good look at her surroundings, repeatedly :o Anyway, another good outing and it's definitely helpful to have my bum kicked a little with her now and then.

Then home for birthday cake. She doesn't have exciting food like Kira's so her cake wasn't as fancy :( but she thought it was yummy anyway (Salty LOVES eating :D)

Thanks - also my thoughts, which is why it's my profile photo on fb :p She's getting braver on the pitch all the time, our coach was encouraging me to push her a bit more now she's finding her feet.
