I had an accident on the yard putting one horse out and another one in. I 'think' I was only out for a few minutes as I was on my own but fortunately my son came down to walk the dogs and found me sitting on the concrete with blood pouring out of the back of my head.
Only needed a couple of stitches and that all healed very quickly but the brain fog lasted for several months and I had some horrible mood swings. I remember a few times typing replies on here and when I reviewed them I had typed a complete load of utter jibberish that even I couldn't decipher, nothing new there then!?
This was all about 18 months ago and I am just recovering from the first of both hip replacements that were also a result of the accident. But the brain fog has almost completely gone and rapid mood swings improved several months ago. I also recall feeling so tired every minute of the day for weeks afterwards too.
Go very easy on yourself and everything will slowly settle down and try not to worry as that will only slow the healing down. I wish you well very soon as it can be quite scary in the early days.
