Well guys, I am well pleased. Started taking my boy out for the first time since he had a kissing spine op a year ago and he got his first points today with well over 60% even though he was quite spooky to start of with and some siilly s*d saluted with a whip in there hand. Very pleased, just wanted to share it with you guys. Who says they wouldnt touch a post kissing spine horse with a barge pole??

Well done, sounds great

Many thanks to you all for your kind words, yes that is him on my siggy. Im so proud of him as he has behaved so well and given me so much confidence taking him out. Onwards and upwards, thats what i say.

welldone. if you dont mind me asking what does the surgery involve? how long on box rest afterwards? and if you dont mind me being very very cheaky how much did it cost?
We have an arab with on going back problems, our back lady susspects kissing spines and were going to get the vet up about it soon. Unfortunately im very wary of putting him through any type of surgery particularly if it involves lots of boxrest afterwards!

Well done, you must be so pleased. It is so nice when your horse comes back after something like this.
