Post Mortem Results- How do you cope?

I am so sorry for your loss, it's absolutly heart breaking to read.

I don't think it'a a case of looking for a horse or not, just let it happen , lets face it, all of us that have horses and son't have any intention of getting another still look at the adverts, just keep doing what you are doing and the right one will just pop out at you.

You are most defo not forgetting Koko by moving on in the end......if he was a human do you think he'd stand there and tell you never to stop crying and always be miserable or would he want you to be happy and give another horse the great home and care that he had.

It'll take you time and to get over it. but on the positive side of something that isn't positive, the decision was made for you. you didn't have the months of worry of him the pain, to end up at the same point....it's more of a shock when the final day isn't planned but least you are safe in the knowledge he wasn't suffering long and there was nothing you could have done, he had a great last day jumping and you need to look upon that day, and the other good times you had.
