Post op bruising to hoof wall

My horse has white hind hooves. I’ve noticed bruising to the hoof wall that’s growing out, it runs parallel to the coronary band and forms an obvious ring the whole way round. Both hinds are affected. I know a few things can cause these and assume this followed from surgery? Both hocks were operated on and the timing of the surgery and stage of growing out would add up

Was it done under GA? They usually transport them onto the operating table with slings around the feet and another poster some time ago reported the same bruising after a GA.

I hope the surgery is successful, the bruising should grow out OK.
