wow what an inspiration all these posts are....alot can be said for seeing potential in a horse and then working at it.

If I'm honest I just fell in love with Ty - luckily he's got a bit of talent to boot!

Absolutely, I find these posts so heartwarming, its easy to look at a lovely horse and think, wow they look great.
But I think there is so much satisfaction to be had from taking on a horse that perhaps isnt all that, and then seeing what it can become.

No real change in my mare, but probably more of a change in my riding:

Last year July:

Silverfox - What's with the baler twine?! he he

These are 2 of mine:

Tinto-Before-n-After-1.jpg
Shadow-Before-n-After-1.jpg

The grey was full of worms (we had a worm count down, shocking result!) and very thin even with a thick winter coat as he hadn't worn a rug in the midst of winter..... He's never going to be fat as he's not built like that! 2nd pic taken at the RC Horse Trial Champs at Offchurch last year.

The Welsh arrived as a thin, very weedy 3yo! Now he's chunked up and is STILL gaining muscle everywhere. 2nd pic taken early last year.

Because I had cleaned my tack (really!

) and had somehow forgotten to reattach the reins. Got down the yard to find I had a saddle, bridle and nothing else so grabbed a peice of bailing twine from my hay and used that instead. I wouldn't recoomend it though... hurts far too much after about 10 minutes!
