Posting a saddle? I know it's been done before,cant find post!

Have sent one via courier before but my dad did it for me but i feel i need to get on and do it myself from now on.
Please inform me what i have to do to get one sent? Do i have to wrap it in bubblewrap or anything?

Not unless it is hugely expensive! In a box that isn't far too big so it doesn't bump around and scratch should do.

stick in in a big box. personally, i'd pack around it with newspaper, bubblewrap, or something, especially if it's a flexible tree, as a friend had one arrive with a twisted tree from being dropped in the box...

I posted one that I had sold on ebay. I wrapped it in bubblewrap and put it in a large box with the spaces filled with bubble wrap. My small local P.O. took it and it arrived the next day!

When I sent one I put it in a big box with lots of shredded paper as padding. I sent it with Parcelforce - you can go on their website, book a collection and they'll pick it up from you which saves carrying a heavy bulky box to the post office

As it's a big box how do they go about weighing it at a local P.O? My local P.O is tiny so i'm worried it'll be too big for them to send.

I bought a Wintec via eBay once, it came in a huuuuge box with a duvet wrapped around it!

I sol d a wintec close contact a month or two go and took it (or rather co-erced my mother to take it!) to the village post office - they were very unimpressed and I have been warned about inappropriately sized packages in future)

That's how I sent mine- I packed it with a throw/bedspread type thing

My post office is only tiny - only open 4 mornings a week. The postmaster managed to weigh my box on his scales and it got collected with the rest of the mail.

There is a courier on Ebay called payperdrop that I use for bulky items, they have been good with mine and only costs around £6.
