Posting a saddle!

Hi,

Does anyone kinow where I can get a box large enough to post a saddle?
Just took the saddle to one of the DHL posting places and they didnt have a box big enough to put it in...!
Ive been on internet but can only find places to buy them in backs of 10 etc, I only want 1 !!!!

Any ideas welcome

May be worth asking at your local grocery store, if they have any spare packaging? If not, removal companies would have them. When we moved house, some of the cardboard boxes were gigantic :-)
 
I had a similar problem posting my saddle last year. I bought a box from Box Express http://www.boxexpress.co.uk/product/detail/large-cubed-box

I had the 60x60x60 for my 17.5" dressage saddle and this was plenty big enough and very strong. The box was expensive though at £10.00 plus delivery but was the cheapest single box I could find after lots of searching.

Th company were good and I received it quickly.

Ive just managed to build my box at box express and order just 1 box, whoop!! Ive been on this all afternoon, looking for boxes on the internet and only finding boxes that you can buyin packs of 20 etc....nightmare!!
Thanks again, all I need to do now is apologise to my ebay buyer who was expercting the saddle tomorrow after I went to send it today.....arghhhh!!
