Help. Have looked at endless websites. Who does anyone suggest using - would be looking to insure and cannot find on websites how to get cover over £50. Is UK to UK. Thanks.

Take it to the Post Office and send it Parcelforce. If it's worth less than £500 try and get it into a box small enough to go Royal Mail Special Delivery and you will have tracking and insurance cover included for about £25. Big WOW saddles will go in a box the right size.

If you send via Parcelforce at PO you can specify level of insurance, tho as far as I remember the cost does jump alarmingly above value of £500. I just crossed my fingers when I was sending a more expensive saddle.

As a company we use Parcelforce and it works well, but I used Parcel2go website quite a while ago to send my own saddle abroad and it was much cheaper for me as a personal customer, saddle arrived fine. Just make sure it's a strong double walled cardboard box and that you pack it out well.
