Potential Project?

Bless him. Doesn't look in the best of condition. If you enjoy the challenge offer them half the asking price for him then transform his life. Take a good look at his legs though! Oh, and what's he done for the last 18 months?

Yeah I'd at the most give £800 max for him. He looks like such a lovely lad who needs a bit of TLC.
And do you mean the cut behind his knee on his front leg on the first picture?
Also i'm not sure, I imagine being brought on or light schooling? I'm going to ring up tomorrow and enquire about him.

Looks nice enough but way overpriced for an 11yr old ex racehorse that doesn't seem to have done anything very much.

I would steer clear for a project to make a profit on - ex racehorses are not easy to sell, and even moreso when they are over the age of 10.

I know a nicer (albeit older, 14) one that has done a bit of everything for a little bit less :)

I currently own a 12 year old Ex-Racer and she's being schooled up now and almost ready for eventing :)

I just adore the look of this chap, I think he really has some potential in him. He's not too old either.

I doubt I'll go on to resell him, I'm clingy with my projects haha!
I agree he is very overpriced.

The current owners say they've had him for six months and he's been out of racing for two years, that's why I'm wondering where he's been for 18 months. Are you willing to offer him a long term home or do you want to sell hom on?

Oh, sorry, just seen you intend to keep him!

Ah! sorry I dazed out
And I am willing to offer him a long term home, I'm not a fan of schooling then selling horses up. As xspiralx said It'd be hard to sell him on for a decent price anyway since he's an older ex-racehorse.

The dilemma is though, My mum says if I end up wanting to buy him I'll have to sell Rosie.
I'm not bothered about that, I just hope he has the same potential!
