Poulticing and tubbing hooves!

Hi all. Think we might be coming out the other side of abscess hell! One tiny hack I have only just discovered is that if you can pen the pony somewhere dry ish underfoot a nappy soaked in Epsom salts water works almost as well as tubbing. I have one that really doesn’t think feet should be in buckets! He’s right usually to be fair! Any other poulticing hints and tips?
 
Prep everything before getting to the horse! I like to make a square of duct tape first so after I've got it all bandaged up in vet wrap I can just stick it on holding everything in place better! But really, horse tied up, all equipment in reach and ready to go is the biggest help.

Yes that was my epic fail today! Horse walked off with co flex wrap dangling! 🙈
