poulticing

Following on from a reply to an earlier post, what would be the best method to poultice a leg? as in material to use etc

I use Animalintex, sheet of cotton wool/gamgee and Vetwrap. Need to be careful you don't put Vetwrap on too tight, roll it as opposed to pull it. Practice makes perfect - the more poultices you do, the better you'll be. Not that you'll be hoping for lots of opportunities to put poultices on!
