power balance wristbands, opinions?

I can't say I've tried these, but with other firms of wristband, I can't say ive noticed anything.

I think partially it's due to me going in with a pessimistic view, but if like to hear more positive experiences!

Gimmick. There are lots of youtube videos of blind tests being done on people of the test they use to show how good they are for you. However, if you do believe in them then they probably will work- the power of placebo is strong.

I have tried one on and I was able to pull a resistance band higher with it on than with it off and I was more flexible with it on too, as in I was able to touch my toes comfortably and normally I get stuck an inch above them.

Imho, yes, they do what they say they do, but it's not a dramatic difference. You will still fall over if you are not balanced and you won't be able to lift up a car.

I just looked on the website and there is zero science to back them up, they just vaguely allude to middle eastern philosophies.

Speaking as a physicist... I see no reason to buy one. Unless if you really believe it's going to help you then it will probably give you a psychological boost.

I have got one on, it was given to me as a present. Just done a Google search and there's a lot of info saying it's a gimmick! Will keep it on and see if it does make a difference, I'm not expecting it to though!
Very disappointed I won't be able to lift a car whilst wearing it! :)
