Powered wheelbarrow

Does anyone use a Sherpa powered wheelbarrow for poo picking? Very tempted but looking for pros and cons if anyone uses one please. 3 ponies to do and fields picked every day. Land is fairly smooth but a few slopes, not horrendous but hard pushing uphill, even an empty barrow (dodgy elbows!) Clay soil so gates do get muddy in winter but not horrendous as 1 pony per paddock and not living out.

I use a powered barrow but it’s a green something or other brand.
To be fair it gets up dry hills ok.
It does make lighter work of pushing a bigger barrow round (obviously)
I find it a bit slow in a straight line, almost feels like it takes longer if the poo is dotted round everywhere, if however your just driving from area to area great.
This particular model is a bit hard to empty. We have to shovel the last bit but that might be brand related.
The battery lasts well and is fast to charge. We have a few and hang one in a bag on the handles in case!

I have one too. Different brand though. A bit slow but it's great not to have to lift back up or push. Really helps my neck and shoulders. Particulrly good when everything is wet and heavy. Goes up hills and over mud really well. Even has lights for poo picking in the dark.

Mine's a Makito and was expensive but it's lasted well.

I have a very old petrol one. Drives itself through any mud and divots so I can Poo pick with a skip and tip into the barrow as it goes along. Works best when field is divided into long thin strips.

I have a Sherpa power barrow…bought second hand from gumtree….been brilliant for 4 years so far.
Copes with steep hill fully laden with a little help. Not brilliant on loose sand, never tried it in mud. Relatively high centre of gravity so can tip on uneven slope, but not a problem once aware of it, and as others said, needs a bit of help to get all of load tipped out.

All in all…life saver for back/knees etc!
