We've pretty much had non stop heavy rain for 48 hours here :(
Coblet only has a rainsheet as she's warm and I was expecting it to have leaked by now! Nope Shes bone dry underneath her weatherbeeta rainsheet :)
 
BigHorse's Shires Tempest Lite is also still waterproof :D

Honestly, we have had 2 1/2 inches of rain in under 24 hours - I was astonished that he was still dry underneath :)
 
Its a nightmare isnt it!? Apparently there is suppose to be some sun tomorrow so Im hoping to get out for a ride. I hate riding in relentless rain its so rubbish!
 
My cheapie bargain swish rug has been fabulous - love it , warm, dry even in torrential rain and I love the fact it has reflective strips on it too!
 
yep, the new shires Tempest rugs i have for mine are keeping them dry (old girl in the lightweight sheet, new boy in the 180g m/weight)
 
I've tried lots of lightweights (inc Amigo) and the ONLY one I've found to be waterproof in proper rain is the Shires Tempest Lite!
 
His amigo rain sheet and his Pessoa medium and heavy have always kept him dry. Now has some derby house ones so we will see how they hold up.

Since moving in a south westerly direction, anything less than a 1200 denier is a waste of time!
Amigo Bravo seems to be a fab lower cost version of the more expensive rambo and you can use the liners in them.
 
Cheap weatherbeeta is holding up remarkably well to the amount of abuse it is being given as is the pessoa MW! Sad to say that the expensive Masta isn't doing so well :( It's in its 3rd year now but it's not had heavy enough use to be giving up the ghost so I'm a bit disappointed... I wonder if Masta's arent what they used to be anymore? My old masta MW lasted 12 years and the stable rug is still going at 13 so disappointed this one and two other identical bought at the same time have gone so fast!
