My vet's are doing it for £1.50 per tablet.

Are there any online pharamcies that work out cheaper than that but are still legal and safe?

Fuzzy Furry, she's just been blood tested again and it's come back at 42 (<29) so vet wants me to up Prascend to 4mg!!! The thing is she looks amazing and is full of energy - after speaking to Jackie Taylor at metabolic horse plus some obsessive, manic posting on here I think I'm going to try adding Vitex rather than the extra drug & just monitor her closely! Really hoping I'm making the right decision though - the levels hadn't really come down much from when she was on 2mg so not sure it would make much difference anyway! My last vet (she no longer works there) was happy with levels being slightly raised if she seemed well but my current vet doesn't seem to share her views! :(

Hi Britestar how long does a prescription last you? You said its about £12 for a prescription from the vet but how many months worth of the drug do they prescribe you for that?

I wouldn't up it for Little Fuzzy when vet asked me to after bloods in the June.
LF was happy & doing v well at that point & I monitored daily on the 2mg (she was 12.2).
That went on for 5 months & then I did up it on vets advice - when figures shot up just on top of xmas. That levelled her out again, but when vet said again at end of Feb to increase further to 4mg due to bloods right up and LF was starting not to look happy, also was v lethargic - and for 1st time ever was going off feed & hay.
Hence the decision to let her go in v early March as it was not a happy time for her.

Hope your Fuzzy maintains her zest for life for a long time to come :)

Mine takes half a day, and script is for 1 box of 90, so that lasts her nearly 6 months :)
