PRASEND

Prascend is the same as Pergolide so your horse shouldn't get worse on it. What you may be seeing is that the dose isn't high enough for your horse so he is continuing to deteriorate. You need to tell your vet so s/he can alter the dosage. Don't expect to see immediate results - allow up to 3 weeks. Make sure he doesn't have another health problem too, that has been masked by the Cushings up til now. Laminitis is a very high risk with Cushings horses, and so is EMS.

Started on Pergolide - as BOF said Prascend is the same drug.
'Changed' to Prascend, no problems at all it's like a miracle drug for our girl.
I'd have your vet back out again to check for other problems,

Has anyone used PRASEND to treat for cussings and your horse has got worse
after use ?

Just learning about Cushings at the moment but I've read on the EIRC Yahoo group that there can be storage issues with Pracend which affects it's potency.

Could this be the case?

You have to get on top of the laminitis { i gather its the laminitis thats got worse} before the tablet starts to work, if your horse is on 1 tablet a day try adding 1/2 a tablet more, what diet is your horse on?
Did you have tests for any thing else besides cushings.
